Q: What do you mean by Life Coaching?

A: I want people to live the lives they really want, yet so many are waiting until....

• The kids have left home....
• They have the perfect job / partner / place to live....
• They have enough time or money....
• They are the right weight....

....and THEN they will be happy and be able to start living and be the "real me".

I assist clients to

• look at all their roles in life, and assess how satisfying these roles are for them
• clarify what they want out of   life
• turn dreams into a plan that actually becomes their reality
• have time to stop, think, reflect and plan in a confidential environment

As one client told me - "Liz, you are the only person in the world who is interested in ALL of me, not just that I'm a mother, partner, employee, manager, friend and daughter ! "

Q: What do you mean by Professional Supervision?

A: As your Professional Supervisor, I offer you a confidential space in your busy working life to stop, think, and reflect on your role; your work environment and how you perform your professional role.

Q: So what is the difference between Professional Supervision & Life Coaching?

A: Not a great deal - although the focus of Professional Supervision is on your work, which is only one aspect of your life.

Many organisations will pay for Professional Supervision for their staff who have responsibilities for other people, and traditionally in New Zealand, it is called "Professional or External Supervision" whereas in other countries it may be called "Business Coaching".

As a Life Coach, I believe you take all of you to work, and that we can not completely leave our personal life out of our professional life. Therefore clients also discuss "whole of life" topics.

Q: How often do we meet?

A:   That is entirely up to you. Our appointments together are arranged at a time that suits us both.

Q: Do I have to live in Dunedin, New Zealand to be your client?

A: No, not at all. I have clients I have never met! Coaching / Professional Supervision by telephone and email contact works very effectively.
